Author: Drake [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 04:43:10 10/13/02 Sun As some of you may know, I have been working on a program for the last week or so. I've gotten it to the point where I need some "out-of-house" testing done. This program really isn't anywhere near full beta stage yet, but I need input. The program basically will take a text file and apply HTML formatting to it without having to use an HTML editor. It includes some very basic tags, and also the opportunity to apply Cascading Style Sheet formats. This is the concept at least. Right now the major functionality is disabled. Files can be opened (except Word files for the time being) and viewed. However, files cannot be saved, and the Apply HTML formatting button does not work because of the obscene amount of garbage it produces right now. What I am looking for is a few brave souls to run the setup, install the program, and look at the interface design and concept. There are many parts that do work... and some of it is kind of cool. I need to know what is good, bad or indifferent about the program. Once the program is completed, I will post it to an FTP site for free distribution. All of the files have been diligently scanned for viruses and other nasty things. All of the installation and program files are clean. Furthermore, you will get some minor OS updates up to Windows 2000 (SP 3) that will increase the funtionality and/or operation of some programs. This is a very limited delta test. I will only accept the first three or four volunteers. Thus, if you are brave... have a go!
