Power Outage in Michigan... and the clean up continues

Greetings All:

A good chunk of Michigan was included in the wide spread blackout and, unfortunately, my neck of the woods got hit. I did not get power until yesterday afternoon. It was a total of three solid days, and twelve hours saw brown-out. I lost a couple of pieces of equipment (nothing really important), and this is delaying the release of any story chapter posts. Once I get sorted through the minor mess, I will get back to writing.

Between being on vacation last week and then the blackout, I have only had two days of time where I could get any writing done. Needless to say, I did not get many words committed to the page. Oh well, such is the technical world and the dependence on electricity. Strangley enough, I feel as if I have been on a two-week vacation. For those of you who know about my bizarre and other-worldly sleeping patterns, I did manage to get a lot of sleep time in. I feel rested and really good. I think the time off -- planned or otherwise -- ended up working to my advantage.

Anyway, the situation is under control and nearly back on track. Be well everyone.
