The hospital which treated Jeff the day of the accident missed a few things. The following day he sent to our local hospital (much larger) and they did c-scans of his foot. Originally the first hospital said one break. The second found two clean breaks, three fractures and several bone chips. He'll see an orthopedic surgeon Monday a.m. who will decided whether or not surgery is required but at the very least, he'll have a hard cast put on it.

Estimates are that he'll be off work eight weeks.
