Subject: Just a general question.

When you sign up for insurance, you are signing a contract.

Does ANY other industry, ANYWHERE, in ANY country break faith with its signed contractees as often as the insurance industry of the United States of America? Especially (though certainly not limited to) the health insurance industry?

Currently they are paying 1.4 million per day to lobby against any change in the current system, which, as I pointed out below, is broken to the point where GP doctors are dropping out in droves. This is somewhere past insanity, we've moved to the twilight zone, where guarantee of massive profits takes precedence over PROVIDING WHAT YOU CONTRACTED TO DO, and refusing to fulfill a contract carries minimal penalties, BECAUSE YOU BOUGHT THE LAW, and in many cases got the law amended to FORCE THE UNWILLING TO BUY YOUR PRODUCT!

This is Chicago when Capone owned it, this is gangsterland brought to life and in possession of the capitol of the US. It's just incredible.
