I will not retire in the US, and that's because of the US health care system.

I, and probably everyone else here, personally know people who've left the US because of the health care system. Again, I've personally known one woman whose father moved to Canada and became a Canadien citizen because the US system would have bankrupted him and then let him die. He was very blunt that he preferred to live as a Canadien than die in the USA.

That so many refuse to see that people making a profit from health insurance and malpractice insurance and so forth are not arguing in the best interests of the average citizen astounds me, but such is the way it is. So be it.

Once again, every single one of the Senators and Congressmen arguing against government run health care is USING government run health care, and NOT A SINGLE ONE of them has walked the walk and gone outside that system. Not one. Talk about hypocrisy, they've got the market cornered.
