~Me?!~ she says in surprise. She then shakes her head. ~But that's not possible.....I haven't....I haven't talked for three years.~ She looks to him, ebon orbs filling with tears, but she's smiling. She rushes over to him and wraps her slender arms around his neck. ~I can talk again!~ she yells, though it's still in his head. She pulls back and makes a face. ~Well, at least I'm working on it,~ she replies with a grin. Pretty face screws up in concintration. When she ahd stopped talking, it was right after she had just learned. Would she remember how? Would she sound funny?

She watches Depths closely, arms still wrapped around his neck, small body pressed against his. He wouldn't laugh at her if she tried and did it wrong. She knew that. She takes a deep breath. Forbidden Depths, she says softly as way of trial. Her voice comes out soft and musical, no longer a child's voice. Her eyes widen in surprise at the sound. She liked it! And she didn't sound funny either!

She laughs delightedly, and licks Depths cheek in happiness. Realizing what she'd done, she stumbles backward and almost falls. Her eyes were wide, partically because of her brash action, partically because of the odd electricity that had run through her for doing it. I-I'm sorry Depths, she says softly, her brained muddled and confused.....
