Lost somewhere within the shadows of BPC, a coyote plots her next diabolical scheme. With one major death already under her belt, Luna can only hope she'll be so lucky next time. The coyotes that have invaded have not, in fact, done very much. They've killed three wolves, one of which was annhilated by Luna alone. So, we're left wondering, when will Luna rear her ugly head and strike again? Will she be the partial downfall of BPC if she continues her threatening trends? Many wolves have tried to catch her, and she's escaped much to the contempt of the wolves.
Seeing as she isn't exactly the type to be found lounging in Whisper Falls or Shady Springs, I'd say she'd be most concentrated in the...less-inviting areas of BPC; Widow's Peaks, Lowland Caverns, Lightning Flats, Le Plateau, and perhaps Sunset Canyon. Luna also seems to have a follower in the form of Wile E. While she has really shown no signs of wanting the lanky, scraggly counter-part, he has proven his loyalty to her and is probably the only one safe.
Kadiri, Dakota, Sky, Marble, Jet, and others have been trailing her avidly, but they too should heed the warning, lest one of them get caught alone. At a point in the Peaks, they thought she was had. Unfortunately, Luna is not only a demented murderer, she's an intelligent escape artist too, which can only improve her chances of striking again.
Luna was born into a litter of two pups, one, Solar, was stillborn. Her mother, leaving the dead pup in its place next to Luna, left quickly after the birth to go attend to her own matters. Luna became attached to her sibling and carried it around long after it became stiff, cold and hard. Solar's face had frozen into an expression of pain and fear, and one could only guess what the fetal Luna had done while inside her mother's womb. She grew up in a clan of very harsh, angry, abusive coyotes. You'd think growing up while getting abused and talked down to incessantly would make a coyote soft, subourdinate, and submissive. This had the exact opposite effect on the exceptionally large and powerful female. Her father, a leader of an exceptionally large harem, forgot about her. Her mother abused her, knocking her around savagely to relieve stress. Many a time Luna was left bleeding and infected by other various members of the clan, Solar, still infant-like by her side. This continued until one fateful day. Her mother had just taken a bite out of Luna's shoulder because of something another coyote had said to her, when Luna struck. She tortured her mother...much the way she tortured Raine and left Solar, her faithful, dead companion inside the cracked and bloody skull of her mother. She became reclusive and coyotes stayed away from her. She was often found in remote areas tearing out bits of her own fur until her flesh was bloody and swollen, biting herself, and pounding her head against boulders until blood spurted from her ears. Few coyotes dared to speak while she was in the area. As soon as she reached adulthood, Luna left the clan and went to Hindi, there she disguised her disturbing ways enough in order to get into Wile E's harem of one. In a very uncoyote-like manner, Luna has become more of the leader.
Luna may just leave, biding her time until she can strike..But one never knows...
