Any money the Gazette makes is never reflected in any budgets. I dont really care to know who each and every employee is however when a budget shows office payroll of $85,000.00 for 3 people, thats where I question costs. And when you get a more approximate amount of what employees are paid and realize it is in no way near the amount shown on a budget thats when it does become my business as to how much we pay employees. And any property owner paying monthly assessments has the right to enjoy a HEATED POOL whether anyone else uses it or not. Did you know that the "$9,000.00" saved last year for not heating the pool was already reflected in a budget for next year when it had not even been voted on. The board already had decided not to heat the pool, ignoring the procedures they are obligated under law to follow. Sorry if you were insulted about comments re the gazette but I was just stating what was shown to be fact and again I have yet to see a proposed budget show any type of profit from the Gazette. Where did it go and if the allotted funds were never touched for the year then theres 12000.00 surplus and with heating the pool theres still 3000.00 left in our favor.
