Patty, I'd make a paste of plain white sugar & betadine. If you don't have betadine, just use the sugar. Pack it onto & into that wound, and wrap it. It will draw out the nastiness. I've had excellent results with this.

Hi, I have a small lab mix, she is actually my dd's dog. I have two other dogs..German Shepherds that like to playfully munch on the lab. We have tried to get them to stop, but the lab brings it on.

The lab now has what I think is an abcess on her forehead, how can I treat this myself...it is not open.
