Dragoness smiles at Lyf, finding that the thought of hugging the child seemed somehow to not fit. When her daughter, Icey, appears, Pearl allows herself to hug her. Her blue eyes sparkle happily at being home again. Looking from Icey to Lyf and back again, she asks, How is everyone? What has happened since I left? Pearl can't wait to hear about the lands once more.

With her arms still around Icey, Pearl watches Lyf without speaking for a moment, stunned at how much older Lyf sounded than she actually was. After her pause, Pearl shakes her head slightly to clear away thoughts and smiles warmly at her granddaughter. I am quite fine, my dear. I had to take an "extended" vacation, but for now I should be back. Still smiling, she extends her arms in an invitation for a hug.
(ooc)I am still grounded from the internet, at least until the next report card. I am still sneaking online, but I should be around more often.)
