Naw, no real bang, just a slow descent into ... er ... neglect. When you get no respect from your "superiors," you just sort of stop caring. I feel bad for my immediate supervisors, who had nothing to do with the decision and are feeling really rotten about what happened. But it'll all be okay!

Frankly, I'm much happier temping, doing something I like, for better pay. Now I just gotta make sure I work consistently ....

I've discovered that I'll probably be doing something with The Word posts that I do with my own unpublished fiction -- rewrites. I'm trying to get editions done far enough in advance so the rewrites happen before they go up, but you may want to peruse Folio Two again; I did some rewrites last night after getting back from class.

I'm glad you're liking the story so far! I think, during these non-working days, I'll be getting the extras pages up -- including the bios. (There's a separate post where I'm chastised for missing my 9/6 deadline.) So far, we have four characters: Soshi, Mila, Dave, and Hiram. I'll probably be sketchy at first, and fill in more info as the story moves along. Don't want to give up too much from the start .... ;)

Must go -- meeting friends I haven't seen in a long time for lunch to-day!
