That's a heck of a lot of thought, there. I'm flattered and humbled. If that makes any sense, but it's true.

I'll give warning now: pre-Columbian mythology isn't anywhere near as well understood as the ones coming from the "Old World." So ... I kinda take a few liberties. Nothing insane -- any jumps I make stem from things already established -- but I do have to make things up.

I have to resist the urge to spill all right now -- Dan's got some fantastic ideas, and with some he's spot-on, and with some he's not, but but they're fantastic nonetheless.

--BTW: My mom thought it was (or wanted it to be -- she's very much a cat-lover) a jaguar. We can safely eliminate jaguars from the running.
