Dear friends and family,

So there's three days left of ministry for us here in South Africa. But before I get all emotional and begin to reminisce the past ten weeks, let me tell you about last week.

I personally dont' have a lot to say because I was sick for most of the time. HOwever, on Tuesday a lady named Jane from one of the churches that we are working with took us on a prayer boatride. We went around what was supposedly the gateway to all of Africa, an inlet or an opening, and we just prayed as the boat went all around it. We had a short evangelism time that afternon but in the evening myself and Arlen went joined the rest of the staff on a little get together dinner because it was Anne-Mieke's birthday - our other staff member.

Wednesday went out and did more evangelism but I had to leave and go home because Josiah was ill and so I had to be with him. I got nominated to go home because I was sick too. It was all good because I was able to share the gospel with the housemaid. As I shared with her she asked for teh references to the verses that I gave to her so that she could look them up in her Zulu Bible. She did not receive Christ then but said that she would talk to me the next day.

Thursday stayed at home again coz Jo was still sick and I felt a little worse too. But I did talk to the maid and she said that after reading the verses she called her daughter and they received Jesus together. It was so awesome because GOd did not even need me there! He did all the work. And she also said, the next day, that before that for many years, before she slept she always felt a heaviness around her. But for the past two nights she has been sleeping perfectly well. Praise God He used that circumstance of sickness for His glory.

I need to cut my time short today because I'm running out of minutes. But we had moved again to work with a different church and now I'm staying with an Indian family with Emma. We are all divided into different houses by twos.

God bless you all and the next time I email I will be in Perth. Will catch up with you all there!

With much love in Christ,
Kristine
