I could so identify with this (I am very partial to moonlit walks especially in forests or on a beach and I like to escape from the kids too) - I particularly liked the way you took the reader on your walk, helped by the visual imagery of everyday things

'someone is doing laundry,
the smell of fabric softener in the air
reminds me that mine awaits at home.'

We could experience all the senses through this poem - excellent work. R
