Ah, so there wasn't going to be a dramatic display of emotions at his news? Pity. Hex could have used a good laugh. It seemed that most of his days were taken up by the tedious details of making sure PI didn't fall into the ocean or fighting Adrian. Rolling his shoulder, the reddish brute dipped his chiseled attic and delivered his parting line.

"I think that will do it. I will collect Moonlight and be on my way."

Without another wasted moment, Hex pivoted and exited Firelight's company. The less time he spent here, the better. Time to get Moonlight and get the heck out of Dodge.
