However, the chill with which she spoke her words caused a small flinch that would have gone unnoticed by anyone but Medusa. With a small sigh, he comprimised the unfailing devotion that still tied him to his parents, clipping forever the thread that made him so hunger for their approval. He had chosen them once, over his twin, and the path had led him only to bitter disapproval. "The only thing we have in common with Mother and Father are chromosomes," he responded firmly, knowing subconciously that he had once more dedicated himself to someone without ever intending to.
