She turns abruptly to face him, her green eyes suddenly soothing and friendly, cooler. They were not at all the ardent, angry fierce emerald they were a few seconds before.

"I knew you would see my side of it someday."

She said quietly, striding over to him. She nudges his charcoal shoulder gently, her ears flick back behind her, possibly listening for other life forms.
