Thanks for the advice David, the 59 degree club it is.

I also like the idea of building up strength with the shoulder and waist rotation and thus am ok with having a higher swing weight reference for the 38.5 inch clubs. I’m am strong at about 6’6” and 112kg. Do you butt weight the clubs?

You mentioned that the proline, blackstone and regal are all the same weight but isn’t the regal slightly heavier in the head (265 vs 273gm)?

I also found reading your “common sense approach to golf” pdf a fantastic learning experience!

Apart from the 30 day return warranty (and a little wear) are there any quality control difference between the used/demo clubs and the new ones? I only ask because I doubt that I’d return them and am sometimes a bit hesitant about buying secondhand clubs in general, only because I sometimes feel that second hand clubs may have been returned or put up for resale due to them being a bit off the mark?

Cameron,

1. We do not butt weight our golf clubs.

2. The regal clubheads weigh 265 grams just like the Pro-line and Blackstone irons.

3. Our Used/Demo clubs are not second hand. Theses are clubs that were used during our demo day events and corporate golf outings and may have been hit four or five times. If you bought a new set and played four rounds of golf our Used/Demo clubs would be in the same or better condition.

I looked up all the different one length club manufacturers out there and am convinced that your clubs would be the best choice for me.

I also researched people who play heavier swing weights for clubs around 38.5 inches and feel perfectly comfortable with your idea of club head to shaft balancing trumping an ideology of building a club to a designated swing weight.

Also sorry I got mixed up with the head weight difference between the original one iron vs the regal. i looked at the Regal table again and its 265gm :)
