Cameron,

Golf balls are simply a matter of personal choice. However, a couple of points to take into consideration are that for a slower swing speed you will get more distance with a low compression rating (50-60 compression). With a higher swing speed you will want a higher compression rating (80+ compression).

Personally, I play a low compression ball even though I have a relatively high swing speed. I just prefer a softer feeling golf ball.

Thanks David,
I just purchased online a set of the demo driver, 3w and blackstone 19 to 59 irons.

Thanks very much for answering all my questions both here and on email. I won’t be able to test the clubs out until late July, because I’ll be away. But I can’t wait to start practicing!!

Your service is awesome!

I’ve always thought that there was a flaw in the premise of golf club fitting which seeks to adjust a club to the players potentially poor technique or bio-mechanically vulnerable inconsistent swing.

Can’t wait to drill a consistent swing and maximise the recruitment of all the right muscles to feel composed and confident with every iron shot from 19 to 59 degrees. :))
