Subject: Grips : Jambomaxx light M&XL compared to Blackstone grips

Hello every one,
I am waiting for my new Set of Blackstone irons, driver and 3 wood and read almost every word here in the forum and on the website. I love the concept and believe it and in a couple of days I will receive them here in Egypt and be the first one ever in my club that uses this. Maybe in the hole country. I don’t know we are not that much in Egypt anyway.
I hope to get you some new customers here :).
But this is Not my topic.

I wanted to ask if any one here tried other grips than the one delivered with the set. I am a little unorthodox: I used the Jambomax Light XL ( exactly the ones Dechambue uses) and then went a little bit smaller to the Medium ones. I am slightly above avarage with my hand size but not huge. And I swing my driver around 100mph. I am still 43 but just started golf 3 years ago.
The thing is you have to change the grip with sizes like this. And coming from Tennis all of my life before golf, loved that feeling of more grip in my hands.
The thing is I am afraid that the grips that well come with the Set even if they are regular Jumbo they are not crazy big as the ones I am using now and wanted to ask experts and experienced here among you if you think I should try to stick with delivered grips or should I change to one of my crazy sizes. What are your thoughts about the effect of shot shape, club speed and distance. The weight and b askance of the clups? What are your experiences with other grips on these lovely clubs.

I am sorry that my message is long. But you know what I am.
I am aiman and I am a golf addict 😂
Thanks Lads.
Have a great day.

Hey,
Just received the clubs 30 min ago. I am so excited. For a demo set they are brand new. The driver looks amazing the shaft is very flexi compared to my Callaway paradem stiff. We will see.
A 3 wood with iron shaft is my first time. So excited.
But still as I expected. The grips are too small compared to my Jamboomaxx. What do you think guys. Should I change them directly or give them a try?
Greetings
Aiman

I didn’t feel comfortable with them. I think playing the jambomaxx for more than one year now with a similar dechambeu grip and swing is just in me.
But I am so serbesrised about the set. I am writing a review right now.
