Subject: Toronto to Aurora move ?!?

Living in toronto now, but am seriously considering moving my family (wife 32 , boy 2, girl 5 months) and I up to Aurora - We've been looking for a few weeks in the area and have gone through countless open homes and development sales centres. It's difficult to make a decision with so much to choose from. Any advice from ex-Toronto residents that have moved into the area. I've got lots of questions. Are there any good/bad experiences out there that may help in making our decision?

1) good schools?
2) good community events/programs - for kids?
3) decent shopping/ restaurants?
4) sports for the kids?
5) movie theatre?
6) is the commute real ugly going into city at 10am and returning 3pm?
7) any advice for new home buyer? ie. high taxes?, builders to stay clear from, areas of town that are better,
8) is it getting overdeveloped?
9) is Richmond Hill or Newmarket better suited for a young family
