There is a bug, the retrieve timeout isnt stored
properly.
But you can close down the pinger.
Open DFBHDPinger.cfg in notepad with wordwrap off.
Change the RetrieveTimeOut value, save
and start.

I'll fix this in the next version.

Hey I did change the lobby's now, and the timeout, but I get the same error... I use telenet... might this be the problem??

Dont know.
Do they use some kind of proxy ?
Try downloading the glb file through IE
and make that work :).

I've changed the lobby info and I still get this crap error message.

I also can't refresh the server list on DFBHD Pinger neither...roll on DF FAVES, so's I can drop your trashy prog into the bin.

I get that error message too saying that the server is down and it can't refresh, but I don't go around making an asshole of myself like u do spume.

DESTRUCTOR is only trying to make peoples life a bit easier with DFPinger, and he probably already knows that there is a problem of some sort, what he doesn't need is lame ass comments like yours dissing his program when it goes tits up once,u should be supporting him and not dissing him, as for DF faves, I had loads of problems with that at my first attempt too, I didn't see you on their forum dissing them!

lol fucking idiot, go ahead delete it from your crappy piece of shit computer, like nobody cares.

It's working fine for several thousands of users.
I guess it must be something wrong with the tool.

The only reason for that error is:
-NOVA IS DOWN.
-YOU GOT A SUCKY CONNECTION.

And if you would have taken the time to actually read
the fucking forum, you would have seen that there is a
solution.
But i assume editing a file is just too much for ya.

need to go into dfpinger Dir and open DFBHDPinger.cfg
find line that reads

"5"<\CONFIG>
and replace with
"?"<\CONFIG>

? being the value u wish to enter!

This should help with some of the errors tho NW is totally S**T at the mo and if the dont start to short there lifes out BHD will be a massive flop!

When you change the value, are you doing it through the program with options tab? That doesnt work I've tried it, you have to go into your DFBHDPinger.cfg file and change "RetrieveTimeout">"5"<\CONFIG> to look like this "RetrieveTimeout">"40"<\CONFIG> *40 can be any number u want. Hope that helped

It's not a typo, the pinger was released when the lobby version was 2, now the current lobby is version 3.
And look at the big red flashing text where you DL
the pinger :).

And you need to change all links so that they end on 3.
