Gary, I agree with most of what you say, but little old Bath had a few PGs on team when I was there, including myself but I hadn't danced as an undergrad.

I did create a TC manual for my successor , which scared him at first, but sadly it has got lost along the way. (Similarly for the Social Sec) There is only so much you can do. In smaller clubs, a loss of a few experienced dancers often means there is little or no experience left and not everyone is prepared to put in the time required often at the expense of better degrees!

And, (Impoxbridge cover your ears), but not all clubs want to take it as seriously. They just like getting dressed up and enjoying themselves :)
