She sighed softly, shifting a little to stand up and scoop Josiah up in her arms. "Why don't you take a little quick nap, big guy, and then we'll watch a movie?" She murmured, giving him a raspberry against his belly which made him giggle. The toddler was more than content being put in his crib to play on his own for awhile, such a good baby. "Kesiyah, tell Kali goodbye and go to your room to do your homework. Bring it out to mommy and Uncle Diallo when you are done and we'll go over it with you, ok?" She smiled as Kesi reluctantly said goodbye and headed off to her room, finally mumuring a hello to her uncle and giving him a hug before disappearing to do her homework from preschool. Once they were child free, Cassie dropped herseld down onto the floor again, resting on her belly with her arms crossed as she looked over at him, her cheek resting on her crossed arms. "Be honest....and don't feel guilty...but do you sometimes wich things were different?"

He smiled a little as Josiah disappeared, and took a moment to give Kesi a hug and a kiss on the top of her head. "See you in a bit, baby." Once she returned to join him, he scooted so that he was lying next to her - comfortable on the floor, mirroring her position, and just close enough that he could speak softly. Aiesha nearby was sleeping soundly now and he didn't want to wake her. "You know I was infatuated with Malika since I was like ten and she was following my brother all around town and wouldn't even look twice at me?" He fell silent again for another long, quiet moment. "But I don't know... I don't wish things were different just for me - I wish they were different for everyone..."
