"But I don't know... I don't wish things were different just for me - I wish they were different for everyone..." "Yeah, I know, Cass. At least for me, all of this is better than it had ever been when I was kid - not like it could be, I guess, but definitely better... It's way different for you though." He knew she had always been a well-off princess when she was younger - that was maybe one reason Kato had been so drawn to her at first because she was so different. He reached out to tug gently at a strand of her hair. "I just remind myself of everything that I do have that a lot of people don't. Sometimes it makes me feel better, sometimes it doesn't, but it never makes me feel worse." He was young, but she was younger and truthfully she had made a bigger sacrifice than any of them - he couldn't imagine having everything that she had and then giving it all up.
