Well i havent seen the show yet - but i do already like it

Firstly i have a great admiration for Joss and think any tv series he creates is bound to be good. He has done nothing wrong so far (i could shoot him for killing off Tara but i have to admit it WAS the best idea for the show).

Also, the premise of the show really intrigues me from what ive heard - and the Chinese speaking i think is also cool.

I downloaded one clip of an episode (for the life of me i cant remember which) where Mal is in this bar and is about to get in a fight with another bloke and Jayne is sitting in the corner all "do it yourself" type. The actual fight didnt happen but i like the way that scene was written and if the rest of the show is like that then its got my vote...

Not that it dosent already...

Another reason is the writers. A lot of the writers are from BtvS and AtS which i love. There is not one writer on these 2 series who's style i dont like a lot - so the fact that they are writing for Firefly is another great reason for me to watch it.

I dont have a clue why it hasent been snapped up by SkyOne seeing as most programmes are. If they dont get it im sure Sci Fi or someone will eventually. And if not, there's always the DVDs when they come out.

- Jo
