Fox screwed the show up from the get-go with delaying the pilot and giving it a very difficult time-slot. I just downloaded the pilot and it was WAY better than the episode they started out with. It was exciting and made me actually interested in the Doc and River's story, (which the regular episodes didn't at first).

Regardless of what happens, Firefly is definitely a great show and deserved better than what Fox gave it. I don't understand how network execs could watch the pilot and think it was boring or slow. They are idiotic!!
