After watching that gae on Sunday Night...which I can safely label as a tragedy, I can reaffirm that we have the best coaching staff in the WCC if not the West Coast. C'mon, that was ridiculous execution of a plan, strategy, in what was probably the most lopsided match up in a long time. The way Doron Perkins frustrated Stepp, and what we exploited as the Zags weakness will only come to show in the tourny. For Zags fans who cry about what they will be seeded, they better hope no commitee members watched that game. I see them having an early exit.
Next year, is safe to say with the schedule of many teams in our league, we all have a chance at an at large. Our schedule is going to be scary from what I hear, stanford, UNC, New Mexico, Arizona State, Miss. State. Mix this with USF's schedule, Zags schedule and others and it will be definitely a chance for the WCC to shine early. HEre's to hoping the guys had the light bulb flip on last weekend, and that they hit the eights hard along with playing hard all spring long.

missed you M4P ...

I like to think that a one pt loss to the #4 ZAGS will give them all a lot to think about during the "off" season ...

I think Doron's comment was right on and positive ... and the schedule does give a chance to that returning "CORE" ... something to work with ...

I liked how we ended up a lot better than where were were a couple of weeks before ... and much better than another loss to SMC in the final (which could have been a possibility on the 4th night after a big effort vs. GU)

although the way they were playing who knows ... I guess adrenalin can take you a loooooong way when you're 18-22
