for JCard ... (more of the same)

from cbs.sportsline.com (new "free" trial service)

6-6 forward Mitch Henke of Minnetonka (MN) Hopkins scored 25 points as Hopkins, #3 in Class AAAA, defeated Edina 79-70 in Classic Lake action. Henke is making a strong case for the Most Improved Player in the state. The Santa Clara signee played in the shadows of Kris Humphries and Dan Coleman, who are at Minnesota and Darren Clarke, who is at St. Louis and averaged 8.0 points and 5.0 rebounds per game last season. Henke is averaging 22.9 points this year.

Henke is looking like the real deal. I know he's a bit light (c.185 lbs), but he's smart, supposedly fairly athletic and everything I've read indicates he can shoot the ball. Maybe he'll be the SCU version of Creighton's Kevin Korver. In the here and now, the Broncos need to deal with some Gaels and Dons. A road split would be ok, a sweep would be a big step toward a playoff bye.
