continuing the tradition of work ethic big men from SCU
Jens-Uwe Gordon playing for the 1st year 1st Division German Federal League Artland Dragons ...

so far has played in 14 of their 15 games (out for his latest child's birth?)

not bad for a 40 somthing big guy .....

Not bad at all! FYI, he's 36, not 40+.

Heard on the radio this AM that Schott, the A's owner gave $4 million to SCU for the new baseball field.

heck ... everyone probably played better than I did at 26

But I like to think of Jens as the quasi-German Dennis Awtrey ....

both journeymen Centers ... both enforcers ... both with good hands ... (Dennis was probably a better rebounder)
