Competition is fraudulent from top to bottom. Thank goodness we landed in a small and supportive school that didn't focus solely on competitive wins, but my daughter competed for many years- and we all saw sketchy things happening while she did.

Now that we've seen the proof of what was suspected all along, she has chosen to stop competing all together and focus on enjoying the art form. So thankful that chapter is over. Feel sorry for those, for whatever reason, that can't break away from it all.
