There is a cost for ballroom. Take that cost / the hours used for mini feis= the cost of the ballroom for the mini feis
Total cost of ballroom - cost of mini feis to us ballroom = cost to use the ballroom for SRO comps
There is a lump sum cost for the judges. Cost / hours they spend on the mini Feis = total cost of judges for the mini Feis .And on top of that, you now have judges working extra hours and it’s only day one whereas they could have been rested and fresh for the competition the next day. You have stages getting worn down and dirty because of extra dancing and everyone who’s danced a major knows they get slipperier as the week goes on.
Those are some costs you can’t quite measure. So I maintain it’s just not worth it.
