-Your ideas intrigue me and I appreciate your offer to run the tournament while I put in the crap-hours of organizing/advertising, but I think im capable of hosting a tournament.. despite the lack of experience you so clearly pointed out I have.
- I would still like to have your help recruiting any good players we could get to come. Since the date will be so close to April 17 Indiana tournament, I don't know how many would come anyway and also they will be two distinct touraments instead of clones of one another.
- Nick and I would be willing house a some guys if they decided they wanted to wanted to go out to the bars and stay for a night.
- 5 stock, best of 3(Pending # of tvs), double elimination, no time.
- $3-$5 entry. (Depening on expected turn out). % of entry fees goes to first, second, third place. Dollar value should be around 70/35/10. Since this will have no true seeds it is really only possible to determine who is the first and second best person. Although a third place is given, this person is not nessacarly the third best. Assuming complete fairness in matchs.
- Slob picks: loser can either change character or stage.
- Stages: Final Destination, Battlefield, Yoshi's Story, Fountain of Dreams, Kirby 64, Pokemon Stadium.
- Double Blind pick for first character.
- Seed: "Friends" system. Sign up with a maximum of 5 other people and you will be seated from them as far from them as possible. (Unless we can get enough tv's and game cubes and melees to do a round robin seed. I can supply somewhere between 4-6 tvs/cubes.)
- No Items
- Final match: Best of 5. The winner of the losers bracket will therefore have to win 2, best of 5, 5 stock games in order to win.
