I have been going Faires since I was like...5 or 6, and I have always adored them.. there is an aura there ..that anything might be possible.
As I have gotten older and met people, like Queen Kathrine, I have wanted to participate.
I want to share that sense of wonder with other people so that they can know what it is like.
The other reason I love the Faires are the people I meet there. I have met more wonderful, friendly, kind people at Faire than I have anywhere else....bonus, they don't give me strange looks when I start with the music..

For me, my favorite thing about faire is being able to transform myself from mild-mannered wife/mother into "Super Wench/Privateer". LOL!!!

Okay, okay....seriously, I love being a playtron at a faire or take the big step and be a performer at one (right, Temper?). I enjoy being in garb and to "live a different life" that lets me be myself.
