(As I've gotten to know folks better, the line between Janelle and Jan is becoming increasingly blurry.) Then there's the fact that I've always loved live theater; and faire is one of the least expensive sources, if you count how much entertainment one can see in one place in one day!. :-) And now that I'm on cast at PCRF, I've added the joy of being able to perform again (which I hadn't done in many years). To tell you the truth, I loooved to dress up! What little girl doesn't want to be a princess right? ;) But then we met Bodge aka Queen Katherine who brought us into the world of faires. And since then we have been hooked. My main reasons are: 1) the love of performing, not for myself but for other people. I love being able to put a smile on someone's face. I know when I got to a show it sometimes keeps me going for days or weeks. That is a wonderful feeling. To make someone happy or brighten their day a bit is a true gift. 2) Dressing up of course! LOL! I never got to be a Princess when I was young, and look at me now! ;) 3) the people. I have made the closest and dearest friends that I have ever met. These people are wonderful. As I have gotten older and met people, like Queen Kathrine, I have wanted to participate. I want to share that sense of wonder with other people so that they can know what it is like. The other reason I love the Faires are the people I meet there.
