My 4-107 burns 1/2 gallon per hour @ 1350 RPM's. Don't run any higher, won't go any faster.

Scott,

I asked the exact same question in 2005 and got the following answer...

Subject: 4107 / 4108 fuel consumption

Anyone know what the gallons-per-hour fuel consumption per rpms is for our Perkins in 31/32s? Am planning a cruise down the coast for next month and the likelyhood of having to motor for extended periods is high.

Even a rule of thumb would be helpful.

Thanks,

RR

Randall,

use a 1 GPH rule and play it safe. Carpe Diem had a 4107, was a bit overpropped and used about that.

Bill
