 I asked this question years ago when Bill Griggs was still alive and he posted one or two photos. One of them was a pic of Ronnie Self. I don’t remember the other. I’ve looked on the internet for pics like these, and only found two. If you search the internet using Winter Dance Party 1959 Springfield Illinois, you should be able to find a few pics of Waylon and Tommy on stage. Both of those pics show Waylon playing a Strat, not a bass.
