I have heard a version of That'll be the day with a
sax on it at Mrs. Holley's house Larry and me brother
in law was there it was on a reel-to-reel tape also
Playing for Keeps Buddy did it in a high voice like
on Girl on My Mind a Groupe from England was also there
I also have a small tape the Big Bopper was sending to
Mercury Records in Chicago Dec 5, 1958, talking to a D J
in England about coming over there with Buddy and Ritchie he opens in his act voice hello Jerry this is the Big Bopper then talks in his normal voice Rare played it for
Bill he was amazed I have never put it out
