After a pause she found it though, and scooping up the pup she hurried to his side, dropping it beside him to ensure it’s safety while checking on her beloved. He looked pretty bloodied up. Silent pray cast to the heavens and the awaiting Goddess, she hoped for the best. If needed, after some rest, she’d get back into the fight. But her body was spazzing from all the effort of moving...she couldn’t do it now. Thank god her friend had come or it would have been over.
