His muscles tensed he growled in frustration, and for that fleeting moment he saw a bend of a twig. He's right there. As he heard the thud of the beasts legs pouncing off the ground, there was a split second where everything ran in slow motion. The hollow outline of the invisible beast was barely visible beneath the rain. With as mutch courage he could muster in a pico second the wolf lunged in the same direction, jaws agape and claws outstretched at what he hoped was the face of the beast.
