Ijust had an ingenious idea! For those of us that are in the Atlanta Area....we can come together and form an organization and qualify for group health insurance. I have researched this for months with one of my professors and it is perfectly legal! I have a few outside business ventures so I have a tax ID number. If we were to form a group say "Nannies of Greater Atlanta" and listed ourselves as independent employed contractors we qualify for a group health insurance plan in the traditional way that people employed through corporations have! Please contact me ASAP if you are interested! I already have 2 additional people in the group. THIS IS NOT A SCAM! I AM A FULL TIME STUDENT AND NANNY IN ATLANTA. I have found that an individual health care plan for myself costs about $165 per month!!! With a group plan the rate goes as low as $90 a month for a higher level of coverage. I have found that being a student that extra $75 dollars a month has really come in handy. I figured if this is helping me why not help other nannies.
