 Bravo TIMBO!! The Voice of Reason empathises with you. Rome is a "talent" that Premiere Radio wasted $20 million on for the next five years. The "Sports Talk Radio" genre was about to elevate itself from the constant hardcore sports talk format and elevate itself into an entertainment format. The Kiley and Booms show, through the principal genius of Chuck Booms, was breaking new ground. Alas, FOX Sports Radio, via Premiere Radio / Clear Channel Communications decided that breaking boundaries was not in their best interests. This collective wants the masses to believe that Jim Rome is cutting-edge. Not so!! If utter ass-kissing and self-amusement are an art form, "Van Wack" is the undisputed champion. Jim, show some stones and let the "Real Sports" crew watch you work your show. Show them that your material is not 100% contrived and completely scripted. Hmmmmmmmmm? Just what I thought, no balls!! Bring back Booms and lets elevate this medium!
