OCEAN TIDES

Ocean Tides

Coming to the throes of thunder
Waves like horns
Sounding at the onset of the evening tide
Splashing at the silent rock
Movements of water gather at the inlet
Rolling streams pushing underneath the ocean

The wrath of the wave picks up speed
Gathering strength with the warm wind rising
It rises then falls as if in a dance
Foam gathering into the blackest of the deep
Pouring kisses on the sand
Gently caressing the sun kissed coast

And then again, the push and pull
The sound of splashing in the air
Like murmurs of a lover lost in the sea
The ocean celebrates the tide.
