Subject: Feeding your Stafford

Different methods and foods work for different dogs (and their owners!). Some people like feeding "natural" and other feed dry, or a mix between the two.

I prefer to feed dry, the best commercial food available, at set times, and set amounts. What they don't eat, I pick up and keep until the next feeding time, although this happens rarely. If I had the time, I would probably feed natural. My dogs' diet works for them, though.

I watch my dogs' condition and try and keep them in shiny coats, but so that I can feel their ribs - FEEL but not see them. I like seeing a "fitness line" on my staffords. Their condition enables them to run, jump and swim for hours during our regular hikes, even in extreme heat sometimes.

What is your opinion?
