There are a few suggestions I can think of that you may want to post on the board if you think they're worth it:

- Kennel her at some decent kennels for a week or two (either by taking her in the morning and collecting her in the evening or leave her there for a week to see if they can break the pattern) OR
- If they don't want to do this, you can buy doggy specific blankets that you can wrap around the dog - these are used for dogs that are normally highly strung or feel very insecure and leave this on her - it may help her to feel more secure

When we were still in SA we had a similar problem with the builders building around our place and our Staffords going ballistic at the builders so we took them into kennels in the morning and picked them up in the afternoon and whilst for the first few days this is disruptive, they soon get into the routine to the point that in the mornings they used to go and sit in the car as if to say 'so when are we leaving'.
