Subject: VFX MORNING SHOW.....if you can call it one

Ok, here's the deal. I have been following the whole 94.9 move to the new 97.1 ZHT. You would think that other stations would take this to heart whith all the hype and improve what they got...But I guess not. ZHT's Morning show is off the hook and so hilarius. Would be a hard act to follow. NOW heres where I come to VFX, or the station in Logan Utah that I can hear down here in Salt Lake on 98.3. WHAT an Awful waste of 4 Hours of Morning. I actually listened to it all yeaterday and now some today to check it out. It's Al and (I think its Marion)...That's it. Two people host the show. Sounds like they must be in there young or early 20's. Al talks in this off the wall voice, high pitched and not so humerous and Marion is so bitter. The new stories and topics are so not impotant or not even interresting. To say the most that I guess Is why im posting this is the fact that in the last 2 days, I have not really heard a cheerful or upbeat thing out of this womans mouth. I love the Station for the most part, comes in clear and not a lot of static, at least where I live, and I do listen to the station on my way home in the afternoon to the night guy, Kenton, Very upbeet, show is filled with energy, and this guy at night sounds like hes in his mid to upper 20's and definately has a show with a purpose. Why does the morning slot on VFX sound so ROMPER ROOM or childish.

Not to BASH the station (VFX) but if its in the SLC market, or broascast down here along with the other competitive stations, why not make a few changes and at least have a decent morning show...The first sound of the station that sets the trend and its awful.
ANyways, theres my theory and thought on the station, Im off to work. Have to admit though, im going to back to the Other station ZHT...Makes me laugh, Cant stand the attitude from Marion when it comes to a topic about women and clothes and quite frankly her personal beliefs...some advice...DONT CALL HI HEELS SLUTTY, PINK is not trashy, not eveyone of your listeners agrees to all you have to say, keep your thoughts general and open. You might offend more female listeners as you have myself.
