Yes. He can do that. He can do anything. Much in the same way he can die, and then come back to life. Such as Jesus did. If we are dead how can we still live? So yes God could do that. But then he could change it so he COULD lift it.
But that is all the evidence you need to claim there is no God? It is pretty weak evidence at that. I'm sorry but I wouldn't bet my eternity on your psuedo-logic.

How is this a cop out? Our small puny minds cannot possibly understand the nature of God. Much less understand how he works, and what he can and can't do.

Yes God can do everything.

Never. Sorry God never made a mistake. Everything that has transpired has done so according to HIS eternal plan. Not that we would ever be able to understand that.

How about C) God told us not to do it. But knew we were going to do it anyway. So in his infinite mercy he devised the plan of salvation from this and all other sins that would incur. He sent us Jesus so that we may be made right in His sight again. Jsut because He CAN do anything does not mean He will do everything. He will not interfere with our lives (for the most part there are exceptions).
Let me explain:
God knows everything and has devised His plan accordingly. So He knew about Adam and Eve's sin before He even made them. So instead of killing them outright, he devised a plan that could save us all, AND in the same instance show us a bit of His glory and power. So He already know everything we are going to do and will use that in ways to show us his glory and power.
How does this prove that God does not exist?
To me it just shows that you didn't think your point out too much. Let me give you a hint. You cannot defeat faith with shallow logic. Faith will alway be stronger. Logic is defined by our own weak minds. Faith is given to us by Almighty God whos mind is so great and powerful that we cannot understand faith at our level. We know it's there, we can "feel" it, but you cannot define faith in terms that would ever satisfy our puny little minds. Faith goes beyond our ability to reason, it doesn't avoid reason, it reaches beyond it. It goes to a higher level than reason ever could. God imparts His grace upon us in a way that our souls and spirits (that which is not physical) recognize it, but our mind, flesh and blood only aknowledge it's presence (if that).
You can only argue faith vs. logic to a point and then they become apples and oranges.
