and you think that money goes to the engineers and scientists? no, it goes to the production process.

oh wait, i see, the furthering of technology (technology that could battle diseases for example) is a "bad" thing and waste of your money. oh i see, space travel is a waste? i'm sure you'll be saying that when that asteroid impacts your home town (in the 20th century, at least 2 large impacts on earth have been reported, tunguska, and the amazon, but these were relatively small compared to what can and WILL await us in the future)
