] Date Posted: 22:21:58 02/02/03 Sun In reply to: John 's message, "Strut tower braces" on 11:02:06 02/02/03 Sun The torque strap would be a bracket on the stb and on the top of the engine (probably on the head or something)with some kind of bushinged strap between the two! Just an idea I've got in my head that might help to put a little more power to the ground by reducing give on the top side of the engine! I don't want to give away all my secrets until I get the time to build it and make it work without any bugs! As far as the construction and materials used I am willing to adapt to anyone's special needs! [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |

Date Posted: 22:55:20 02/02/03 Sun Well for the moment being this is kind of (without any intentions to degrade Tony's efforts) a temporary td.com. There aren't that many of us here total and everyone here has a different participation level. I am sure more people would be interested once td.com is up and you offer it to more people. As for the torque strap, sounds like a cool idea, but wouldn't you're strut tower brace have to be completely solid it for it to work properly? [ Post a Reply to This Message ] |
