Auron stood. "I need to go," he said.
"What?!" Marik jumped to his feet. "But you only just go here! And... and..."
"Look," Auron snarled. "If you don't let me leave now, the lives of my friends are in your hands. Do you want that?"
"No, but Auron, please, just listen to me!" Marik pleaded.
Auron flat out refused his brother. "I need to find where they went... and fast."
"You're not going to find anyplace soon without someone there to lead you."
Auron hesitated at the entrance. Though he hated to admit it, Marik was right. He hardly knew his way around his own hometown anymore.
"I'm coming with you."
Auron spun around and glared at his brother. "No. I can't let you do that, Marik. You'll just drag me down, make it take longer for me to find them. It's too dangerous--"
"I'm not just your kid brother anymore, Auron. I can do something on my own. I can be the one who helps you, the Invincible Auron."
A slight smile touched Auron's lips. Marik used to always call him that when they were younger.
"You know you can't travel alone, Auron," Marik continued. "You need someone who can heal you when your health is pretty crummy."
"Who would heal me?" Auron asked bemusedly.
Marik rolled his eyes. "Me, of course. Who else?"
"I don't know... I just thought that you had a wife or something by now." Auron grinned at his brother's embarrassment.
"No..." Marik coughed. "We better get going now, though, huh? Your friends need you there for them."
"Yeah." Auron nodded. "Let's go."

"Bring it on!" Wakka yelled. He wrestled the ball out of one of the opposing team's player's hands and shot it towards the goal.
"Score!" the announcer yelled. "And it's 13-1 in the Goers' favor!"
Letty came up and slapped Wakka on the back. He gave him a thumbs up. Wakka stared at him for a second before he realized what was wrong with this.
Letty died during Project Mi'hen, now over two years ago. So what was he doing here now?
Still puzzling over this, Wakka noticed another odd thing. Everyone looked so much... younger.
I must be going crazy, Wakka thought to himself. He snatched the ball out of the path to an opposing player and concentrated only on his blitzball game. He had forgotten how much fun this could be.

"Yes! He's doing exactly what I thought he would do!" Areo cackled. "Maybe he won't be so happy after he finds out when he is..."
